Miniaturized Antenna Design For The Next Generation RFID Systems
Recently, using RFID systems become popular in many area like service, purchasing and distribution logistics, manufacturing and material flow to provide information about people, animals and products. Hence, the number of works to improve the efficiency of these systems are increasing. In addition to these works, spread the signal to wideband to improve the data transfer using less power instead of sending the signal in narrow band with more power. Furthermore, energy consumption is become less by using wideband technology.
In this thesis, it is purposed to design an antenna operates at 2.45 GHz RFID frequency with wide band. To desing the antenna, planar monopol antenna that can be operate in wide frequency band is used instead of patch antenna that genarally used mobile applications. Planar monopole antenna is choosen because of its low-cost profile and easily formable capabilities. Also, there are several simple techniques to increase the operating band of planar mopole antennas that we used the new one of these bandwith increasing techinque to design our antenna, called adding coupling elements technique.
