The Removal Of Mıcrobıal Actıvıtıes And Metal Ions In The Clayey Soıl Wıth Adsorptıon Technıque
Natural and under a strain clay that is used in the land filling areas was taken as a cover for the top and bottom and it is also used for composing the side levees. Clay soil coats are used for absorption of pollutants such as leachate and organic liquids. According to previous studies it was mentioned that structure of the ground spoiled by the reason of leachate. Another purpose of the study was; to determine the permeability of clay soil and parameters affecting the structure.
The leachate was taken from Şile- Kömürcüoda Landfill area in Asia apart of Istanbul, from the same plant, sample of stained clay is disposed into the reactor with using standard and modified compaction,the permeability values were recorded from, the sample which had applied into consolidated reactors. For determining, the strained clay`s refining capacity studied on continues and discontinues systems. The parameters for input and outflow waters such as ; variation of microbial activities ( total bacterias, coliform, fecal coliform, funguses) and some of the metal ions ( Cd, Mn, Cu, Fe, Pb, Zn ) were examined.
This study was performed in three steps:
First step; The chemical and physical parameters specifications were determined from sample of stained clay which had taken from Şile – Kömürcüoda landfill. In this case clay`s XRD and SEM ( clean and waste sample) were analyzed.
Second step: The leachate which was taken from Şile- Kömürcüoda area, from the same plant, sample of stained clay was disposed into the reactor with using standard and modified compaction, while its consolidation permeability values were recorded.
Third step: For determining, the strained clay`s refining capacity was studied on continues and discontinues systems. The parameters for input and outflow waters such as ; variation of microbial activities ( total bacterias, coliform, fecal coliform, funguses) and some of the metal ions ( Cd, Mn, Cu, Fe, Pb, Zn ) were examined.
