ABLE Camp Application 2014
The Azerbaijani Boys’ Leadership Experience (ABLE) is a summer camp for boys between the ages of 14 and 16. The camp’s primary objective is to bring Azerbaijan’s young, male leaders together for a weeklong program that fosters ideas of leadership, community, gender equality, teamwork, and volunteerism. The overarching goal of ABLE is to see the young men embrace these valuable qualities, share them with family, friends, community and country, and become the leaders of tomorrow in order to help Azerbaijan prosper.
The camp will involve over 48 boys from the regions of Azerbaijan, giving the young males an opportunity to build friendships with people from other regions. Counselors will include both Azerbaijani citizens and American Peace Corps Volunteers.
Camp activities will involve:

Campers will stay in cabins that have all necessary amenities. Campers will also spend one night camping in tents under careful supervision. After returning from camp, boys will be required to lead a volunteer service project in their hometown that addresses community needs. Examples of past projects include: tutoring children, giving educational presentations at school, organizing a community cleanup day, or leading a youth event.

The cost of the camp will be 20AZN. This will include transportation to and from the camp, all meals, and housing. Camper fees must be given to a Peace Corps Volunteer before the camper leaves for ABLE unless otherwise stated by the Peace Corps Volunteer.
Parents: Please fill in the lower portion of this form. This will give us permission to take your boy to ABLE Camp. Your boy will not be able to attend without this consent.

ABLE Düşərgə 2014
ABLE (Azərbaycan Oğlanlarının Liderlik Təcrübəsi) 14-16 yaşlı Azərbaycan oğlanları üçün nəzərdə tutulmuş yay düşərgəsidir. Düşərgənin əsas məqsədi bir həftəlik proqram ərzində gənc oğlanlardan ibarət Azərbaycanlılara liderlik, komanda işi, gender bərabərliyi, könüllülük və icma fəaliyyəti ideyalarını aşılamaqdır. ABLE-ın daha geniş məqsədi isə gənc oğlanların bu dəyərli keyfiyyətləri mənimsəmək, onları dostlarının arasında, ailədə, icmada və hətta respublikada yaymaq və nəticə olaraq gələcəyin lideri olub Azərbaycanın inkişafına öz töhfəsini verməkdir.
Düşərgə Azərbaycanın regionundan 48 oğlanı cəlb edəcək, gənc oğlanlara başqa regionlardan adamlar ilə dostluq etmək üçün imkanı verəcək. Vəkillər hər iki Azərbaycanlı vətəndaşları və Amerikan Sülh Korporasiyaları Könüllülərindən ibarət olacaq.

 Liderlikdə dərslər

 Cəmiyyət layihəsi inkişafında təlim

 Azərbaycanda nüfuzlu vəziyyətlərdən dəvət olunmuş natiqlər

 Qida və əyləncə
Düşәrgə iştirakçıları komunal tәchiz olunmuş otaqlarda qalacaqlar. Həmçinin bir gecə nәzarәt altında olmaqla çadırlarda qalacaqlar. Düşәrgәdәn qayıtdıqdan sonra oğlanlar öz şəhərlərindә icmanın ehtiyacına uyğun olaraq könüllü xidmət aparmalıdır. Misal üçün әvvәlki layihәlәrdә olanlar: uşaqlarla tәlim, mәktәblәrdә elmi tәqdimatlar, icma tәmizlik günü tәşkil etmәk, gәnclәrlә bağlı tәdbirlәr keçirmәk vә s. kimi xidmәtlәr göstәrmişlәr.
Düşərgədə iştirakçılıq haqqı 20 azn-dir. Buna gediş-gəliş, yemək və orada qalmaq daxildir. Ödənişlər uşaqlar ABLE düşərgəsinə yola düşməmişdən əvvəl Sülh Korpusu könüllülərinə ödənilməlidir, ödənişin gecikdirliməsi yalniz Sülh Korpusu Könüllülərinin təsdiqi ilə ola bilər.
