Babak Sadighi
Chief Executive Officer
Founder and CEO, Babak Sadighi earned his PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College, London. Prior to Axiomatics, Babak lead the Security, Policy and Trust research laboratory at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science. Babak has several years of experience in the fields of access control and authorization management. Babak led several R&D projects in collaboration with industry leading organizations and he has a number of international publications in his specified field. He is also a program committee member of several international workshops and conferences in the security and policy management field.
Founder and chairman of the board, Erik Rissanen has an M.Sc in computer science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an M.Sc in economics from Stockholm School of Economics. Erik has many years of research and development experience and several international publications in the field of access control and authorization management. Erik has been a member of the XACML Technical Committee since 2004, where he is the editor of the XACML 3.0 specification.
Finn Frisch
Business Development
Finn Frisch is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) with more than 20 years of experience in the field of information security. At Axiomatics, Finn heads strategic planning and business development efforts. Prior to joining Axiomatics, he held management positions in companies such as RSA Security, FoxT and Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services. Finn has completed his Masters at the Freie Universitat Berlin and Gothenburg University, Sweden
Gerry Gebel
President, Axiomatics Americas
As president, Gerry Gebel is responsible for sales, customer support, marketing, and business development for the Americas region. In addition, he will contribute to product strategy and manage partner relationships for Axiomatics. Prior to joining Axiomatics, Gerry was vice president and service director for Burton Group’s identity management practice. He covered topics such as authorization, federation, identity and access governance, user provisioning and other IdM topics. In 2007, he facilitated the first ever XACML interoperability demonstration at the Catalyst conference. In addition, Gerry has nearly 15 years experience in the financial services industry including architecture development, engineering, integration, and support of Internet, distributed, and mainframe systems.
Pablo Giambiagi
Strategic Research & Product Manager
Pablo Giambiagi joined Axiomatics in August, 2008 and is managing the development of the Axiomatics Policy Auditor, a tool for governance, risk and compliance management (GRCM) involving the formal analysis of policies. Pablo earned his M.Phil in Computer Science from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm. Pablo has previously worked as a researcher and project manager at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) in areas such as formal models of security, information flow, and formal verification of access control policies. Pablo has several international publications in the field of security.
Ludwig Seitz
Customer Training and Development
Ludwig Seitz joined Axiomatics in June 2008. He is currently managing customer training as well as working on the design and development of Axiomatics products. Ludwig has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) in Lyon, France. Prior to joining Axiomatics, he was a researcher at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS). His research areas include access control, information security, usable security, and privacy. Ludwig is a member of the XACML Technical Committee, he has been actively contributing to the XACML 3.0 specification since 2004.
Andreas Sjöholm joined Axiomatics in 2007 as a product developer. He is currently managing the development of Axiomatics products. Andreas completed his M.Sc in communication technology, security and software design from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm.
David Brossard
Solutions Architect & Pre-Sales
David joined Axiomatics in January 2010 to focus on customer deployments and pre-sales. Previously, he had worked for 5 years at BT (British Telecom) in the United Kingdom in the Security Architectures Center. His main area of expertise is SOA security and governance. David has published several papers and contributed to several books on the topic of SOA security and governance.
David holds a Master's of Engineering from the French National Institute of Applied Sciences, INSA Lyon. He is also a Sun Certified Architect (SCEA) and a Certified Security Testing Professional (CSTP).>

Anders Ljungh
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Anders was educated in Sweden and in the US, was a researcher at Stanford University and holds a Ph. D. in applied mathematics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. He has held executive positions at the World Bank, Svenska Handelsbanken and the EBRD. Present board positions include Chairman of HiQ, a leading Nordic technology consulting firm and chairman of Living Capital Management Ltd where he is also a shareholder. Previous board positions include Handelsbanken, Nordbanken, Telia, Morgan Stanley and Carnegie.

Staffan Truvé
Member of the Board of Directors, Staffan Truvé has a Ph.D from Chalmers University of Technology and a M.Sc in economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics. Staffan is currently the CEO of the Swedish Institute of Computer Science and The Interactive Institute. During the last ten years he has worked with the commercialization of research results within the IT-sector. In 2006 he became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science.
Anders Ingeström
Anders Ingeström holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management and Engineering. Previously held positions: co-founder Connectus AB, Business Unit Director of AU-System, CEO of Across Wireless AB, EVP and COO of Sonera SmartTrust AB, CEO of Spinbox AB, and Managing Director of Mobeon AB. Current Board of Director positions includes: Jeeves Information Systems, Aptilo Networks, Adaptlogic, Coach&Capital and Idevio.
Agneta Jacobson
Co-founded Agneta was the CEO of Jaczone from April 2000 to May 2007, at which point the company was acquired by Ivar Jacobson International. Previously, Agneta held various roles at Rational Software including those of Director of Process Development, Process Engineer and Key Account Manager for the Nordic region. Agneta is a speaker at software development seminars and conferences around the world and she is the co-author of The Object Advantage: Business Process Engineering with Object Technology by ACM. Agneta has a M.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Linköping in Sweden. She has been developing software solutions for over 20 years.
