CHILDREN GAMES: FROM RITUAL SANCTITY
TO A SOCIAL CHANGE
Summary
Game is a part of child world and a main kind of activity that prepares child for life physically and morally. In early times the game was a ritual nature, time by time assumed the function of nurture and entertainment. Two factors are synthesized in children games. One of them is a child’s development physically and morally and preparation to operate independently, the other is the child’s enlarging knowledge with getting pleasure morally and esthetically from a game.
At the same time the children games, games prohibitions, mainly the toy changing from the past to the present were the object of research.
