Salmon marketing name One submission stated that the salmon from Tasmania is recognised in Australian and export markets as ‘Tasmanian salmon’ and ‘Tasmanian smoked salmon’. The submitter stated that this is a unique marketing name and indicated that it must be allowed to be used in the future.
