Life in 1980
Sally Rogers was born in 1980.
How was life diff erent then?
Most people didn’t have a computer at
home in 1980. Th ey couldn’t use the
Internet or websites. Th ey watched
the news on TV or they bought
newspapers, magazines, or books. Th ey
couldn’t buy e-books. People could call
or send letters to their friends, but they
couldn’t send emails. Now we can send
emails to friends all over the world.
