ABSTRACT:
In this research; the effects of different organik fertilizers and their dosages on yield, quality and uptake of nutrition elements were investigated. In the experiments, different organic fertilizers were used as follows; liquid poultry manure 1 (LPM 2) (500 kg/da), liquid poultry manure 2 (LPM2) (750 kg/da), solid poultry manure 1 (SPM 1) (200 kg/da)+ liquid poultry manure (LPM) (300 kg/da), solid poultry manure 2 (SPM 2) (300 kg/da) liquid poultry manure (LPM) (300 kg/da), blood meal 1 (BM 1) (50 kg/da)+ liquid poultry manure (LPM) (300 kg/da), blood meal 2 (BM 2) (75 kg/da)+ liquid poultry manure (LPM) (300 kg/da). At the end of the experiments; plant height, trunk diameter, vitamin C, total soluble solid (TSS), pH, plant weight and yield were determined in lettuce. Furthermore, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Zn and Cu were analysed in plants and amounts of nutrition elements uptake from soils were calculated.

According to the results, effect of all organic fertilizer applications on yield ranged from 56-212 % in comparison with to the control application. The SPM 2+LPM application had the highest effect on plant height, trunk diameter, plant weight and yield when compared to other applications. Organic fertilizer applications had no effect on vitamin C, TSS and pH in lettuce.

The effect of Organic Fertilizer application on uptake of nutrition elements (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mg, Zn and Cu) from soils was statistically significant. Amounts of nutrition elements uptake from soils in SPM 2+ LPM application had generally the highest effect. According to the economic analyis results; the SPM 2+LPM application had the least cost amoung the applicated organic fertilizers, but the cost was increased when compared to chemical fertilizer.
