Program 1: Structura antropologică a populaţiilor istorice și preistorice de pe teritoriul României. Paleoantropologie

Proiectul 1: Cercetări biologice, demografice şi patologice asupra unor populaţii istorice şi preistorice din spațiul est-carpatic românesc. Utilizarea animalelor de către unele comunităţi vechi din spaţiul est-carpatic.

I. Raport narativ al activităţii de cercetare realizate:

1. Tema 1„Studiul antropologic şi arheozoologic al unor situri de Epoca Bronzului de la est de Carpaţi”. Eşantioane de resturi faunistice aparținând Epocii Bronzului, descoperite în diferite tipuri de situri arheologice (așezări, cenușare, tumuli), la est de Carpați, reflectă utilizarea animalelor atât în alimentație cât și în ritualurile de înmormântare. Au fost identificate resursele animale, evaluându-se importanța lor relativă în cadrul economiei comunităților studiate. S-au realizat estimări privind strategiile de exploatare a resurselor animale, utilizând profilurile de vârstă la sacrificarea animalelor, raportul masculi/femele, reprezentarea părților corporale. S-au analizat caracteristicile morfometrice ale resturilor scheletice identificate specific. Datele arheozoologice au fost corelate cu cele arheologice şi paleoantropologice, în vederea descrierii relațiilor comunităţilor umane vizate cu lumea animală înconjurătoare, domestică şi sălbatică.
2. Tema 2 „Descoperiri arheologice de la Crihana Veche (raionul Cahul, Republica Moldova): cercetări bioarheologice”. Au fost identificate anatomic şi taxonomic resturile faunistice asociate descoperirilor paleoantropologice de la Crihana Veche. Au fost stabilite profilurile de vârstă ale animalelor identificate, schemele de reprezentare a părţilor corporale şi unele caracteristici de ordin tafonomic. Resturile faunistice au fost analizate şi din punct de vedere morfometric. Datele arheozoologice au fost corelate cu cele arheologice şi paleoantropologice.
3. Tema 3 „Cercetări antropologice şi arheozoologice privind materialul osteologic descoperit în siturile medievale de la est de Carpaţi”. Eşantioanele arheozoologice medievale, provenite din situri de la est de Carpaţi (Orheiul Vechi, Costeşti, Lăpuşna), au fost pregătite pentru studiu si au fost analizate conform protocolului standardizat. Au fost identificate anatomic şi taxonomic resturile faunistice, au fost realizate estimări de vârste şi sex, au fost dimensionate elemente scheletice cu grad redus de fragmentare. Ca urmare a cuantificărilor realizate au fost stabilite resursele animale folosite in economiile locale, au fost realizate schemele de reprezentare corporală şi aplicare a tehnicilor de măcelărie, profilurile de vârsta şi sex ale animalelor sacrificate. Datele arheozoologice au fost corelate cu cele arheologice în vederea descrierii relațiilor comunităţilor umane cu lumea animală înconjurătoare, domestică şi sălbatică. Au fost dimensionate diferite elemente scheletice, în vederea aprecierii variabilităţilor morfometrice ale populaţiilor de animale domestice.
