Weakness of Google’s team
Teamwork is not actually teamwork until the team members actively collaborate. Although it looks to be simple, effective teamwork is challenging to execute in practice. In our work with organizations, we see a lot of hardworking people with excellent intentions. Many CEOs struggle to develop a high-performance team despite their industry knowledge, technical talent, and subject-matter expertise. Managers may be aware of their behavioral defects, but they are frequently clueless about their leadership shortcomings. People are sometimes embarrassed to say what they truly believe within the organization, and assisting tremendously successful CEOs with their Achilles heels can be challenging. If continuous progress is not implemented, a company's potential will be severely limited. To put it another way, if leaders do not continue up their game, an organization's vitality and job involvement will suffer. Weakness in cooperation is a natural thing because where more people with different characters there is an argument. Google spent a lot of affords on building the best and most effective team as it takes first place in the global rank, however, we can see some problems in its teamwork. First of all, problems with its time management, so workers in Google can come to work when they will have free time or when they want, they have flexible working hours. This situation creates less communication among employees with each other because there are different comfortable times for different people therefore, they cannot cooperate harmoniously. Secondly, everybody works with their laptops and most of their time is spent online, that’s why face-to-face communication declining day by day. No doubt that in the company always stress level is high because workers mostly work with data as well as numbers and it might be difficult to safe positive mood, everybody sits piece and negative if such environment continues so it won’t be any new ideas, projects, and discoveries.
Resolution
There is no surprise that problems in teamwork happen in every organization. As a business person, you will undoubtedly confront some of the most typical team difficulties that many companies face today. If a company encounters these issues, it must be able to overcome them in order for its employees to deliver. We all know that dysfunctional teams don't work well together, lose motivation, and produce poor results as a result.
According to Google’s problems in teamwork here are some ways how they can overcome. Initially, they should create one specific time to start work. For example, one team is required to complete one task, they should identify at the same time and come exactly at this time and finish together not by one by one. In this case, it will increase the cooperation of their teamwork and will be high results. The solution of the second issue would be to organize friendship meetings every two or three hours or can name them just talk with closest people, where they can share information with each other, helping to solve problems, freely mention their personal opinions. By providing such kinds of events team can reach effectiveness because workers feel comfortable among their friends and it is a great chance to be close with each other. The third resolution would be having some coffee breaks where they can even play short games like table tennis, in this way they can increase their self-esteem and boost energy. Every hour can play through office and playgrounds also trend songs where workers release their stress.
