Some concerns were stated by audio experts regarding the question whether the data from different test sites can be pooled. As an alternative, the results can be reported results by site. It should be verified, that each test site should have equal conclusions, e.g. system A > system B.

Discussion

Markus Schnell, FhG, presented the AAC-ELD subjective performance test results and the statistical statements and associated conclusions that could be inferred from the data. The Chair noted that the test report document is currently in such a state that it might be best to issue a draft at this meeting and a final report at the next meeting.

It is the consensus of the Audio Subgroup that a Draft AAC-ELD Verification Test Report issues at this meeting, with the final AAC-ELD Verification Test Report at the next meeting.
