In general the evaluators are impressed by the quality of the work done by the CFA’s counterparts. All of them are rather strong organisations trying to deliver quality services in the field of HIV/AIDS. Most of them are involved in important national networks and some are acknowledged by the National AIDS Committees for their performance and role in the fight against HIV/AIDS. However one has to acknowledge that the impact of the counterparts visited is often limited as not much innovative programmes or experiments have been supported and ‘lessons learned’ could not be multiplied to the whole sector of HIV/AIDS.
