Aim of the course:

To help the future personnel management specialists to become aware of the role language culture in the interaction between the individual and the society by improving theoretical knowledge and skills, to use the means of expression of a language orally and in writing according the standards of the literary language.


Expected result:

Improves the knowledge of language functions and means of communication, the skill to use them in diverse situations of interaction in an enterprise (establishment, organization, etc.). The skill to edit texts, analyze and evaluate its language according to the situation of interaction. The skills of the applied written language.

Provide the future personnel managers with theoretical and practical abilities and skills of business etiquette.


Envisaged results:

To know and implement correctly the personnel manager’s professional dress code, know how to organize and manage business receptions, meetings and talks in accordance with the demands of the etiquette. Specific requirements.

The acquisition of the course requires the minimum preliminary knowledge of the English language at level A2 ( according to the Common European System of the Acquisition of Languages).

Students study 20 pages of a text in the corresponding branch independently (also using literature recommended in other study courses), they are able to substantiate the choice of the text, compile a dictionary with the explanations of at least 50 terms; they are able to take part in business conversations, express and justify their point of view. During the term students give a successful presentation on the literature they have read. They pass all the tests, attend classes regularly and take an active part in them.
