Overall F-VF, stamp areas & surrounding margins are nice condition while there are some flts well away from the stamps, all nice colours (The die proofs were solidly glued on both sides of margins using inorganic adhesive in sunked presentation mounts from which they have been removed & professionally cleaned. The remains of the mounts are inc with the lot & on reverse have violet oval "Commomwealth Bank of Australia Fitzroy, Victoria Stamp Printing Branch" h/s, and also approval initials & dates matching those on the proofs). Bft 18. Great rarity with only several recorded, which actually makes it rarer than any of the rarest overprint errors or paper varieties of the postage stamps of Papua.
