Ders kapsamında popüler kültür ve sosyal medyanın tanıtımı yapılarak, eğitimde kullanım alanları ve medya ile ilgili öğrenme teorileri sunulacaktır. Günümüzde kullanılan medya araçları tanıtıldıktan sonra bu araçların öğrencilerin alanlarına yönelik eğitsel içerik geliştirmeleri için kullanması sağlanacaktır.

The new art concepts associated with the technology and also the art works and the aesthetic aims of the artists will be determined. In this context, the interrelations between the philosophy, aesthetics and the science are stated with the phenomena and characteristics of the art piece, artist and technology in the 20th century to 21th century. Effects of the industrial and technical innovations on the art in the first half of the 20th century and the interrelations between the artists and their works will be examined. The introduction of the machinery to the artistic creation and the perception of the ‘mechanical movement’ (mobile) progressed in art is tried to be scrutinised. The theoretical and the practical perceptions of the artists are determined by exemplifying the art movements and the artists’ works progressed in this regard. In this course, it will be analysed the technological elements which relates to art.
