Day 01: Kolkata Airport / Rly. Station – City Hotel

Meet & Greet on arrival at Airport / Railway Station & transfer to hotel. Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Kolkata.



Day 02: Kolkata City Tour (Part 1)

After breakfast start for full day Kolkata city tour. Eden Garden Stadium*, Akashbani Bhavan*, High Court*, GPO*, Writers Building*, Howrah Bridge*, Belur Math, Vivekananda Setu*, Dakshineswar Temple, Jain Temple, Town Hall (Kolkata Panaroma), St. Pauls Cathedral Church and Victoria Memorial Hall. You can enjoy Tanga Ride beside Victoria Memorial on your own. Overnight stay at Kolkata. (*Drive Pass)



Day 03: Kolkata City Tour (Part 2)

After breakfast start for full day Kolkata city tour covering Mother House, Birla Temple, Kalighat Temple, Netaji Bhavan, Indian Museum, Musical Fountain show in Mohorkunjo. We can arrange a River Cruise on Ganges (evening cruise with snacks or dinner) as per your choice (optional). Overnight stay at Kolkata.



Day 04: Kolkata Hotel – Kolkata Airport / Rly. Station

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to the Airport / Railway Station for onwards journey.

CULTURAL AND RELIGIOUS TOUR (Tarapith 1N + Shantiniketan 2N)


Day 01: Kolkata to Tarapith via Bakreswar (295 kms / 7 hrs drive)

Early morning you will proceed to Tarapith, one of the famous pilgrim places of West Bengal. Enroute visit Bakreswar (Shiva) Temple, Ma Bhavatarini Temple and famous hot springs where you can take a bath in the mineral enriched water which is said to have several therapeutic effects. Later you will drive to Tarapith, regarded as one of the 52 Shakti Peethams of India devoted to Ma Tara (another form of Kali). It is a small temple town, known for its Tantric temple and its adjoining cremation (Maha Smashan) grounds where sadhana (tantric rituals) are performed. On arrival check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Tarapith.



Day 02: Tarapith – Shantiniketan (70 kms / approx 1 & half hrs)

Today early morning visit the Tantric Hindu Temple is dedicated to the goddess Tara, a fearsome Tantric aspect of the Devi, the chief temples of Shaktism. After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Shantiniketan. This place was founded in 1901 by Noble Laureate Shri. Rabindra Nath Tagore who visualized a perfect harmony of humanity with nature. Arrive & Check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Amar Kutir (Handicraft Center) near Kopai River & rest of the evening at leisure to enjoy the peace & serenity of this place. Overnight stay at Shantiniketan.



Day 03: Shantiniketan Sightseeing

After breakfast visit, Visva - Bharati University Campus, the complex at "Uttarayan" (Udayan, Shyamali, Konarak, Udichi & Punaschha houses of Tagore), Art Gallery, Museum. Afternoon visit Khoai Hat near Sonajhuri forest to experience the tribes and their life, art, song and dance. Evening free at leisure Overnight stay at Shantiniketan.



Note: University and Uttarayan Complex remain closed on Wednesday (fullday) & Thursday (halfday)

Day 04: Shantiniketan - Kolkata (210 kms / 4 hrs)

In the morning after breakfast drive back to Kolkata with sweet memories to transfer to airport or railway station.



Note: It is advisable to arrive Kolkata one day earlier or reach by early morning flight/train latest by 08 AM to start your tour and book your departure train/flight during evening only after 6 PM.

Day 01: Kolkata – Bishnupur via Jayrambati & Kamarpukur (170 kms / 4 hrs)

Morning transfer to Bishnupur. Enroute visit Kamarpukur renowned world over as the birthplace of the great Indian saint Sri Ramakrishna is frequented by lakhs of visitors from around the world every year. Now you will drive about 7 Km west of Kamarpukur is Jairambati, known to be the birthplace of Sarada Devi, wife of Sri Ramakrishna. Worshipped as the “Holy Mother”, Sarada Devi is better known as “Ma Sarada”. This village with its sacred traditions has now become a holy place of pilgrimage, particularly among followers of Sri Ramakrishna. It is the Matri Mandir in the centre of Jairambati which draws large number of visitors from around the world. Also known as Jairambati Math, the Matri Mandir is in fact a beautiful temple built exactly on the place where the Holy Mother was born. Later drive to Bishnupur. On arrival check in at hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Bishnupur.



Day 02: Bishnupur Sightseeing - Shantiniketan (120 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast visit temples where you can find unique art of Terracotta covering Jore Bunglow Temple, Madanmohan Temple, Chhinnamasta Temple, Dalmadal Kaman & Rasmancha. You can visit weaving centre of famous Sarnachuri & Baluchuri Sarees. In the afternoon transfer to Shantiniketan. This place was founded in 1901 by Noble Laureate Shri.
