Play the video.
•
If you don’t have the video, carry out some tests of your
students’ speed, balance, strength, and stamina. Move the
class to a large empty space (if possible, the playground)
and divide the class into four groups.
•
One group tests their speed. They take turns running
between two lines on the floor as quickly as they can.
They time each runner to see who’s the fastest.
•
One group tests their balance. They stand on one leg for
as long as possible to see who has the best balance.
•
The third group tests their strength, e.g., by arm
wrestling, without being too rough.
•
The last group tests their stamina by doing push-ups or
squat thrusts. They work in pairs, with one student doing
the exercises and the other counting. They see how many
they can do (the student with the highest total has the
most stamina).
