3 Read and listen. Play the recording while students read the text.

Ask students to think of times when they drink more water,
e.g., in hot weather, when they get up in the morning, after
eating something salty, after playing a sport or walking/
cycling somewhere. Then ask

Make sure students understand the meaning of
