Communication Near Field Communication is a wireless technology that provides simple, easy, and secure short-distance communication between two electronic devices based on ISO 14443 Cards - Contactless Smart Cards and FeliCa - standards. NFC technology provides secure data communication through high frequency (13.56 MHz) and low-bandwidth (up to 424 Hertz) interface. Bringing two NFC enabled devices close to each other performs the communication in NFC.
Loyalty is a way for companies to keep their customers affiliated to them, and for customers to have high expectations to get reward for their commitment. Traditionally, companies are tracking loyalty actions through contact smart cards. This situation causes troubles for customers to keep many cards of different companies; it causes some trouble to the firms as well, such as being forced to use limited information processing capability of contact smart cards.
This work contains realization of loyalty cards through smartphones enriched with NFC technology. In this way, customers who have NFC enabled smartphone can load their loyalty cards to their phones as much as they want and this will bring many additional advantages such as the disappearance of difficulties related to the use of many loyalty cards.
In the scope of this work, modelling was realized, then the prototype which will be used in order to allow testing the proposed model has been developed. Through out this working, after doing shopping using a prepaid card or a credit card installed on the mobile phone, recommendations are offered from loyalty applications found on the same mobile phone to the customers, all stakeholders will benefit from this situation in case of adoption these recommendations by customers.
