Revelation 20:1-6 “And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.”
Now folks, maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s pretty obvious, there’s an obvious great payoff for those who refuse to receive the Mark of the Beast, right? It says they’re blessed, how? They get to rule and reign with Jesus Christ, personally, for 1,000 years and they will actually become priests of God! Isn’t that cool? Yeah! How many of you guys would say that’s much better than the alternative there? Yeah, the Lake of Fire usually isn’t a great place to camp out at! I’ll stick with Lake Mead, thank you very much! It’s gets hot there…but not that hot! But seriously here’s the point. Notice, not only the horrible penalty for those who receive the Mark of the Beast, but notice the placing. Apparently you got only two options. Specifically the right hand or the forehead, right? It says it right there! In fact, as we’ve seen several times before, this isn’t the only place where Revelation says it’s these two specific options for the Mark.

Revelation 13:16 “He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead.”
Revelation 14:9-10 “A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: ‘If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of His wrath.”
In other words, just like our opening text, you don’t want to do it. Stay away from this thing! But again, the point is you’re only given two options for this Mark, either it’s taken in the right hand or the forehead, right? And so the question is, “Why? Why specifically the right hand or forehead? I mean, why not the leg, why not the back of the neck, or something like that? Well hey, thanks for asking. It works well with my notes. The 1^st reason why I believe we’re given the option of specifically the Right Hand or Forehead with the Mark of the Beast is the Practical Issue. You see folks, in cold weather climates, the two parts of the body that just happen to be the quickest and easiest to expose for scanning purposes, are the hands and the head. And I know it might sound kind of weird to those of us here in Las Vegas, but believe it or not, a large portion of the world wears these things called hats and coats to keep them warm. Can you believe that? And so if you’re in line getting ready to buy and sell something or get some government handout, and you had the Mark on your back or your big toe somewhere like that, it’s going to be hard or cumbersome to get to it, right? But not if you had it in your right hand or forehead. Chances are even in cold weather climates these parts are already exposed, or you could just quickly remove your glove or lift up your stocking cap to reveal your forehead. Either way, it just so happens, these specific body parts make for a very practical place to put the Mark of the Beast in cold weather climates.

The 2^nd reason I believe we’re given the option of specifically the Right Hand or Forehead with the Mark of the Beast is the Worship Issue. You see folks, the Bible is clear. What goes along with the taking of the Mark of the Beast is an attitude of WORSHIP of the Beast. People are going to worship him. In fact, in Revelation 13 alone, it’s mentioned 4 different times.

Revelation 13:4 “…and they also worshiped the beast…”
Revelation 13:8 “All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
Revelation 13:12 “…and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.”
Revelation 13:15 “…so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.”
And so this worshipful attitude towards the Beast with the Mark just happens to fit a HUGE portion of the planet, when it comes to worshipping with the right hand or forehead. Different cultures today use these specific body parts to worship their deities. And the first ones to do that is the Hindu and Asian populations with those red dots they put on their forehead called the “Tilaka” or the “Bindi.” And so, even though it might be weird to you and I here in the West, these people, a huge portion of the planet, would naturally opt to take the Mark of the Beast in their forehead, in a worshipful attitude just like the text says. In fact, speaking of the West and a worshipful attitude, believe it or not, another huge portion of the planet may not have a problem with a Mark going on their forehead as well. And that is the Catholics. Believe it or not, they already put a Mark on their foreheads every year on Ash Wednesday. In fact, Joseph Biden, a Catholic, just finished doing that himself. Gee, I wonder where this microchip to “track and tag a person’s every move” that we saw Biden and Roberts were talking about last week is going to be placed? Forehead maybe?

But you might be thinking, “Well I don’t care what the Hindu, Asians, or Catholics think. There’s no way I’m going to put something on my forehead! That’s not cool! That’s unsightly! That ugly! What a fashion faux pas! Well actually, guess what happens to be the latest fashion? It’s called Bagel Heads and this is supposed to be the coolest thing ever for your forehead to be injected with saline and then push it in to make a Bagel! Looks to me like those people aren’t not too worried about making a fashion faux pa or something being unsightly on their forehead, how about you?

But you might be wondering, “Alright, that’s the forehead, but what about the right hand? What’s that got to do with worship?” Well again, learn your history. We’ve seen even as recent as Adolph Hitler, how the right hand was used to give him a heil Hitler in an attitude of worship, right? And if you think that attitude will never come back, you’re wrong. We are also seeing Palestinian soldiers do the same thing, you know, the ones who want to annihilate the Jews, they’re using their right hands. And we’re even seeing Obama supporters, “being encouraged to mark their right hands with messages, press them over their hearts, to pledge allegiance to Obama.”²⁵ Folks, looks to me like we’re seeing a resurgence of people using their right hands and foreheads in an attitude of worship, how about you? Just in time for the actual Mark of the Beast! Isn’t that wild?

But that’s not all. The 3^rd reason I believe we’re given the option of specifically the Right Hand or Forehead with the Mark of the Beast is the Logistical Issue. You see, as we saw before, many skeptics today say that say it’s logistically impossible to Mark everybody on the planet at the same time. It would take too much time, cost too much…blah blah blah. It’s just not feasible they say. And what they do is they usually pick on the biometric version of the Mark that we’ve focused on the bulk of our study, the tiny microchip the size of a grain of rice that can be implanted. And what they say is this implant would take forever to get into people all over the planet. It’s just too slow, it’s too long of a procedure, it’s too cumbersome, you’d never get the job done in time. And I don’t believe necessarily believe that what with all the advancements we’ve been seeing in technology, but be that as it may, even if you wanted to go there, it just so happens, for the first time in mankind’s history, there’s another option out there. As we saw before, they’re using the exact same RFID implant technology, but they can now affix it to the outside of the body. They’re called Epidermal Electronic implants and the can be affixed to the body externally, and very easy and quickly.²⁶ But here’s the point. Just get one of those in the mail and put it “on” your forehead or right hand, real quick, and you’re good to go! It’s that’s easy. No logistical problem here! Just sent out a mass mailer and get the job done in one shot! For the first time in man’s history, “on” or “in” it doesn’t matter. We can do both! No need to debate, no need for a logistical problem.

And for those of you who think people will never warm up this new external marking system, you’re wrong. Anyone just happen to know what the latest external marking rage is, young and old alike? Tattoos! External tattoos that you mark on your body! In my generation, it wasn’t that big of deal, but now, they’re everywhere! There’s shows about them, they’re everywhere being promoted. And this of course led to the next phase of body piercings! In the tongue, in the nose, in the eyebrow, in the forehead, etc. In fact, it’s even led to body implants in the head, horn implants are on the rise. And people, the point is this. Once again, just in time for the Mark of the Beast, are loving this external marking stuff. And it’s getting darker I might add! But it’s now led to another latest craze and that is getting your very own external bar code! It’s the next big thing in body art. Check it out.

Now folks, as creepy as that is, you might be thinking, “Well that’s just a peel off version. Don’t you think if this is the actual Mark of the Beast technology that is would be a little bit more permanent? Well yeah. And they’re not only working on it right now but they’re busy beefing it up. They now have a new labeling technology out there called QR CODE and it’s much more sophisticated than bar code. It allows you to not only identify any product including yourself anywhere on the planet, but it gives you the ability to interact with every product and person on the planet. Let’s take a look at that new technology.

“If you haven't heard or seen QR codes you soon will. QR or Quick Response Codes are two dimensional matrix codes that trigger responses in Smart phones. The response triggered might be a simple text message, a call to a telephone, a visual, or a trip to a website. QR codes have been in Japan and Europe for several years.

Very prevalent in Japan, they have been used in advertising to promote products, by sending customers to websites. Triggering information such as nutritional details or prompting a sale via coupon. They have even appeared in architecture. The Tokyo N Building, rather than having the typical billboards, was built with a QR code facade.
The QR code takes you to a site that gives you up to date information on the shops and services inside. The vision of the future includes the use of an I-Phone app that will allow users to see those inside who want to be seen and heard by clicking on them-you would see what they are tweeting.
QR codes are just starting to become popular in North America. A number of airlines like British Airways and United now allow users to download QR boarding passes to their phone to use at departure gates. Starbucks is piloting a QR enabled app that links customers to a store that allows customers to pay.”
Ooooh! So they not only connect you to the Matrix like System, but you can use them to make financial transactions in the Matrix like System. Now here’s where it gets creepy. Oh, and lest you think these external tattoos show no signs of becoming mandatory someday, the makers of the external RFID tattoos for cattle, a company called SOMARK, was launched to help fulfill the NAIS mandate where every animal has to have and electronic tag to supposedly ensure our safety. But the same company who makes these external RFID cattle tattoos, has made some very interesting comments, about our future.

Mark Bydynowski : Basically we make electronic ink tattoos. But the purpose of the electronic ink tattoos, actually to apply it to food supply  to identify and track them as they move throughout the food supply chain.

You know, he was really feeling the economic hit from it and so I knew that. So you know when someone's getting pinched economically there's an opportunity there.

So it’s cows now, but later it could be people. Sounds to me like we’re being prepared for something, how about you? Oh, and it just so happens that this tattooing technology from SOMARK can be made invisible for those of you who are still worried about how this will look on your forehead or your right hand. They use a special ink that is only noticeable when exposed to UV light like they have in lines at places like Chucky Cheese, Bars, Amusement Parks, etc.²⁷ Looks to me like all options are covered! No need to worry whether the Mark goes on your forehead or hand! It still looks cool! It’s invisible. But here’s the point. Internal External, both options are here for the first time in man’s history. And one day they could not only become mandatory, but they present no logistical problem whatsoever!

But that’s still not all. The 4^th reason I believe we’re given the option of specifically the Right Hand or Forehead with the Mark of the Beast is the Energy Issue. You see, what’s really wild about these microchip implants, is they have a unique power source that recharges itself by converting electricity from the fluctuations of the person’s body temperature. And it just so happens that a researcher, Dr. Carl Sanders, who worked for thirty-two years designing microchips in the Bio-Med field, said that, “Over one and a half million dollars was spent finding out the two places in the human body that temperature changes most rapidly.”²⁸ And can anyone guess just where these two best locations in the body might be? That’s right, in the forehead right below the hairline and the back of the hand. Hey, that makes sense. That’s how you check a child’s temperature the old-fashioned way. But now that can be used to generate energy for the chip!

But that’s still not all. The 5^th reason I believe we’re given the option of specifically the Right Hand or Forehead with the Mark of the Beast is the Penalty Issue. You see the Bible says folks, no matter how convenient it is, or how cool you might think it is, the Mark comes with a penalty.

Revelation 16:2 “The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.”

Now here’s what interesting. Dr. Carl Sanders then went on to say that there was one drawback with this system. That is, if the chip broke down, the person would get a boil or grievous sore. Hmmm. Where have I heard that before? And if that still doesn’t get you, maybe another advancement in this technology is why the text says in Revelation says you’re fate is sealed when you take the Mark.

Revelation 14:11 “He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.”
In other words, you go straight to hell. Why? Well, maybe the Antichrist is also going to make sure that if you try to change your mind after you take the Mark you will DIE and immediately go to straight to hell. Believe it or not, that too, is already here!

Mark of the Beast Killer Chip:

Fox News Host “Alright this story sounds like it’s out of well a Hollywood thriller. A Saudi inventor has created a killer microchip. It’s designed to track terrorists, and criminals, and well you can think of somebody. Not only does it include a GPS device, it also has a lethal dose of cyanide. Which can be activated at any time. You get my point?”²⁹
Folks, who would have thought we’d be living in the days where we not only see the technology for the Mark of the Beast and the conditioning and willingness of people to take the Mark of the Beast, but who would have thought they would have actually figured out a way to kill you with the Mark of the Beast and send you straight into hell. Is that evil or what? And that’s exactly what the Antichrist will do when you’re living in the Last Days!

Yet, even with all this amazing evidence pointing to the signs of Christ’s soon return, some people still have a problem recognizing what’s going on, like this lady:

“One day a blonde lady had finally had enough. She was tired of everyone assuming that she wasn’t very smart just because of hair color. So she decided to do something about it. She went to the hairdresser and had her hair dyed brown.

And as she walked out of the beauty salon, she was feeling quite proud of her new look so she decided to go for a drive in the country. Well after she drove for awhile she suddenly came upon a shepherd.

And she thought this was a perfect opportunity to test out her new look and demonstrate her intelligence. So she walked over to the shepherd and asked, ‘If I can guess how many sheep you have, can I take one for a reward?’

Well, the shepherd thought for sure that this lady could never guess the exact number of sheep he had, so he took her bet and let her try. But to his surprise, amazingly she guessed 98, the exact number of sheep he owned.

So feeling rather good about herself, the lady picks up her reward and starts walking back to her car. But before she got to the car, the shepherd tapped her on the shoulder and said, ‘Hey lady, if I can guess your natural hair color, can I have my dog back?’”³⁰
Now, that lady had a problem recognizing things, didn’t she? But unfortunately, she’s not alone. Many people today also have a problem recognizing what’s really taking place in current events. They have no clue that the rapture of the Church could happen at any time, and that the antichrist’s wicked kingdom is being formed right before their very eyes. And the warning that Jesus gave long ago still holds true today.

Luke 12:54-56 “Then Jesus turned to the crowd and said, ‘When you see clouds beginning to form in the west, you say, Here comes a shower.’ And you are right. When the south wind blows, you say, Today will be a scorcher. And it is. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, but you can’t interpret these present times.’”
I hope you’re not one of those who have bought into this lie that man can somehow have his own heaven on earth by implementing The Mark of the Beast. Why? Because you might wake up one day and discover that you’ve been left behind. And do you know what? God doesn’t want you left behind. Because He loves you and I, He has given us the warning sign of The Mark of the Beast to show us that the Tribulation is near and that Christ’s 2^nd Coming is rapidly approaching. Jesus Himself said this:

Luke 21:28 “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
Like it or not, we are headed for The Final Countdown. We don’t know the day or the hour. Only God knows. The point is, if you’re a Christian, “You must never forget the warning recorded for posterity by Martin Niemoeller, the Lutheran minister who lived in Hitler’s Germany during the 1930s and 1940s. His words echo down to us over succeeding decades: ‘In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.’”³⁴ Folks, it’s high time we Christians speak up and declare the good news of salvation to those who are dying all around us. But please, if you’re not a Christian, give your life to Jesus today, because tomorrow may be too late! Just like the Bible said!

How to Receive Jesus Christ:

1. 
   Admit your need (I am a sinner).
   

2. 
   Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
   

3. 
   Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
   

4. 
   Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)
   

What to pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior.
