THE WORD KHAYR
The word KHAYR in interesting
It’s the opposite of SHAR
In its origin, even the sound of it
KHAYR is when things are consolidated, organized
Shar is when things are spread out
If you walk into room and there are papers all over the place, across the room, it bothers you!
You see papers EVERYWHERE it will bother you,
Imagine all those papers are neatly stacked and folded all into the middle of the room on the table, its ORGANIZATION, CLEANLINESS, its appealing,
KHAYR means something is organized, good
SHAR is spread out, its disorganized, no organization.
WA NASHKURUKA-
Nashkuruka comes from root word SHUKR which means to be grateful, thankful,
WE ARE GRATEFUL TO YOU, TO ALLAH,
WA LAA NAKFURUKA comes from root word KUFR
KUFR in its origin refers to sowing a seed,
The process of farming, they turn soil, put seeds in ground
KUFR MEANS TO PUSH SOMETHING UNDER, PUSH SOMETHING INSIDE (like seed)
You stuffed it under,
That’s what kufr means
Then in terms of gratefulness, it means UNGRATEFUL
Farmer is called kaafir, even Quran used it in that tone
Because what are we supposed to do with blessing? We are supposed to say ALHUMDULLILAH. When someone is ungrateful they are HIDING THE BLESSING OF ALLAH and not acknowledging that favor bestowed upon them
In faith and imaan, it means to disbelieve, he is suppressing and hiding his true nature (fitrah)
WALAANASHKURKA
WALAA NAKFURUKA- WE WILL NOT BE UNGRATEFUL TO YOU (NORAML LA)
WA NAKHLAOO- KH LA a’ mean to remove something that is attached to you
When Prophet Musa walked into the valley fakhlaa (remove your shoes) was used
WE DETACH, WE REMOVE
NATH RU KU- root word means TO LEAVE, OR WALK AWAY FROM SOMETHING
WE REMOVE, WE DETACH AND “NATRUKU” WE WALK AWAY, LEAVE BEHIND (who are we detaching? Who are we leaving behind?
MAYN- the one who
YAFJURUKA-
Ka- you
Yafjuruka root word FAJR , means BREAK SOMETHING OPEN, SMASH SOMETHING OPEN, RIP SOMETHING OPEN,
The time for fajr is called that because DARKNESS is BROKEN OPEN, darkness is ripped apart
FUJOOR- type of sinning in which he OPENINGLY SINS, ARROGANTLY SINS to a point where he does it openly without ANY remorse he’s like SO WHAT, what are you going to do about it.
YAFJURKU- the one who OPENLY, UNABASHIDLY, VERY OPENELY INTENTIONALLY DISOBEYS YOU
WE DETACH THIS TYPE OF PERSON AND WALK AWAY, LEAVE THEM BEHIND
Important lesson! Especially for younger brothers and sisters
IMPORTANCE OF THOSE AROUND YOU
THE COMPANY YOU KEEP, THE PEOPLE YOU ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH, THE PEOPLE YOU REMAIN IN,
We are so concerned with dawah, nasiha, giving dawah, but do NOT let it be at the expense of your own imaan!!!!
His teacher said when you give nasiha to someone, if you are not having an effect on them, then realize THEY are having an effect on you! SOMEONE IS WINNING, THERE CANNOT BE TWO LOSERS, SOMEONE IS GETTING THE UPPER HAND!
IF YOU ARE NOT RUBBING OFF ON THEM, IF YOU HAVE BEEN HANGING OUT WITH THEM THEN REALIZE THEY ARE RUBBING OFF ON YOU!
WE WILL DETACH OURSELVES, AND REMOVE OURSELVES FROM PEOPLE THAT WILL VERY OPENLY, just don’t care, very intentionally sin
Almost like they are BRAGGING, with them we keep a distance from them!
Teacher is imam, people bring problems to you, so you learn certain things
Parents are very concerned about their youth, about the company they keep but problem is THEY are not willing to watch their own company!
So we will have free mixing parties and the second I see my son talking to girl, it’s the end of the world.
My children better not even think about it!...
What about me?
WE AS PARENTS NEED TO MAKE SACRIFICES
TILL THIS DAY
WHEN HE WAS BORN THE WAS PEOPLE AROUND THAT TIME, there were few family we were close with, but there was certain thing in their lives they would do like sing, smoking drinking, cursing,
So we used to stay away from them
We need to keep like minded company
LESSON FOR YOUTH, watch your company,
For parents WE NEED TO ABIDE BY THE SAME RULES. IT APPLIES TO US AS MUCH AS TO OUR YOUTH.

But even Arabic is a language, it is people based
