Also in 1912, Mr Brakspear was paid £24 for a plan. I haven’t bothered to pursue the question of whether Ware followed Brakspear’s plan or produced his own. The builder was Long. I wrote to EH in Jan 2011 about this as the listing gives Ponting as architect. I asked them for their source but haven’t heard from them. Pevsner gives no name which seems odd. The Fowler family were substantial benefactors. It was dedicated in June 1913
