Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
The Workshop will take place in southern part of Silesia region, with close proximity to the natural spots , in tranquil environment, well suited for groups workshops and inclusive activities. The main objective of the workshop is personal development, gaining more interpersonal knowledge, develop self-awareness, get back in touch with everyone’s inner voices, reduce tensions in the context of cross-generation dialogue. We would like to equip participants with tools and methods on how to build tolerance and respect of other generations, countries, cultures while at the same time not neglecting individuals’ borders and values. All this process will be managed focusing on sustainable way of living and respecting the natural environment. The subject will be presented in an interesting, communicative and active way and it will be based on many practical games, active methods such as kinaesthetic and manual arts, in-door and out-door activities, roles plays, etc. Particularly, the following issues, will be developed: - "creative myself" at age of 50+ allowing for further potential development, self-awareness and self-esteem in context of people's own potential;- how to improve the quality of life, better understanding of myself, better communication with others, low impact on the earth, other ecological values; how to define your borders, while still being open to others; respecting your body and diverse relaxation methods

Adults of 50+ interested in history, cultural heritage, photography, artistic activities, and exploring traditions in Europe

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
Day 1 Arrival and accommodation of participants

Day 2 "Integration activities." Activities will include: learning basic phrases of the language of language of participants in the workshops, lessons from the pantomime, classes in intercultural communication.

Day 3 "Silesia cooking workshops." Activities will include tasting and learn cooking traditional dishes with the Silesian cook showing the secrets of the silesian kitchen area and history of food. Day 4 "Silesia in the lens - photography workshops." Learning the basic principles of photography. Practical training in the field: photographing objects present on The Industrial Monuments Route of the Silesian Voivodeship and sightseeing.

Day 5 “Industrial Monuments Route - Educational path” The first part of the day will be held in Historic Coal Mine “Guido”. Participants in the project will go to the level of the mine, located 320 meters under the ground and take part in thematic lessons. The whole visit to the mine is an active tour combined with learning about the customs and dialect of miners. The second part of the day will include a visit to the Tyskie Brovarium in Tychy, where participants will see the history of brewing tradition in Silesia and the production process.

Day 6 ”Feast of Silesia.” The last day will include preparation for the feast: dancing workshops - learning the basic steps of the Silesian dance, music workshops about local songs, handmade workshops – preparing traditional hats. Day ends with a common feast modeled on the feasts of miners with presentation of photographs of participants. Participants on this day will receive a certificate of participation in workshops.

50+ age persons interested in various ways of improving their physical and mental well-being, balance, concentration, memory and want to experience a meaningful learning adventure in a multinational environment. Basic knowledge of English required.

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
Enable seniors experiencing learning in a multinational environment, to enhance their personal development and meet their individual learning needs. The participants will be exposed to various ways of caring for their physical and mental health such as: Tai Chi practice, yoga for the eyes, Nordic Walking, singing and dancing but also learning English as means of communication and exploiting some ICT tools. Participants will be taken on a mountain trip to experience highlanders’ dances and on a Nordic Walking trip in a nearby forest. The objectives are: activating seniors for the sake of their physical and mental well-being. To provide a meaningful learning experience in multinational surrounding with the help of a bridge language (English). To enable seniors to travel for self-development purposes and to enhance and sustain their needs for learning new skills. To support and encourage the course participants to use ICT-based technologies to record experience of the workshop (e-diary ), to keep up contacts with other Workshop participants and hosts. Local seniors will be invited to participate in the classes and extracurricular activities and junior volunteers to help workshop participants with ICT and English.
