Topic 11 (Y6T2a): ‘STUDENT LIFE’ School subjects

Lessons: Approximately 3 (45 minutes each)




Overview: Having a good grasp of key vocabulary that relates to one’s own regular experiences of everyday life extends to school settings. Talking about school life has practical communication purposes. Familiar ideas about daily events ensure that language content relates to students and their own personal experiences which form their identity. In this topic, students will learn to talk about attending their school subjects and highlight their favourite classes.

The key verb for this topic is去qù which means ‘to go’.
