Dersin Amacı/ Course Objective	:	İçsel ve çevresel faktörlerle beraber, estetik, görsel, kültürel, yapısal ve fonksiyonel detayların da gelişimini ve düzenlenmesini göz önünde bulundurarak, basit yapısal nesnelerin tasarımını inceler. İki boyutlu CAD sunumlarıyla ve her seviyeden çizimlerle tasarım işleminin entegrasyonu sağlanır.Elaborates and studies the design of basic structural objects by considering the development and execution of aesthetical, visual, cultural, structural and functional details, as well as interior and environmental factors. Two-dimensional CAD presentations and all levels of sketch drawings are to be integrated in the process of design. Özellikle küçük ölçekli mekânsal ve çevresel düzenlemelerin tasarımına yönelik bilgi verilir. Konut tasarımı, materyal ve yapı sistemlerinin uygulamaları daha detaylandırılır. Ek olarak, tasarım sürecinde görsel ve kültürel faktörlerin yansıtılması temel alınır. CAD ve çizimler projelerin sunumu ve detaylandırılmasında gerekli bölümler olarak sunulur. Special consideration is given to the design of small residential and environmental scales. The application of materials and construction systems are further elaborated in detail. Additionally, the skills of incorporating visual and cultural factors are seen as fundamental aspects in the design process. CAD and sketches are an essential part of presentation and progress of the projects.

Dersin İçeriği (Kısa tanımı)/ Course Content (Short definition)	:	Bu ders, seminer, stüdyo çalışmaları, anlatım, sunum ve tartışmalarla eleştirel düşünce, tasarım kriterleri, temel kavramlar konusunda farkındalık, işlev, malzeme ve tasarım yöntemleriyle ilgili çeşitli ölçekli 3 boyutlu projeler konusunda gelişimi amaçlar. Seminer, anlatım ve stüdyo çalışmaları 3 boyutlu tasarımın temellerini renk, form ve şekil gibi temel etmenlerle tasarım sürecine taşır. The course is based on lectures, Homeworks, demonstrations, discussions and Homeworks, which try to elaborate within a framework of critical thinking, elements of design and the awareness of basic concepts, factors, functions, materials and design methods for multi-scaled three-dimensional projects. Lectures, demonstrations, and studio exercises explore the basics of 3D designing from color, form and shape to the process of design. Bu dersin 2. dönemi, ileri düzeyde seminer, stüdyo çalışmaları, anlatım, sunum ve tartışmalarla eleştirel düşünce, tasarım kriterleri, temel kavramlar konusunda farkındalık, işlev, malzeme ve tasarım yöntemleriyle ilgili çeşitli ölçekli 3 boyutlu projeler konusunda gelişimi amaçlar. Seminer, anlatım ve stüdyo çalışmaları 3 boyutlu tasarımın temellerini renk, form ve şekil gibi temel etmenlerle tasarım sürecine taşır. The second semester of the course is based on lectures, Homeworks, demonstrations, discussions and Homeworks, which dwell upon (within a framework of critical thinking) elements of design and the awareness of basic concepts, factors, functions, materials and design methods for multi-scaled three-dimensional projects. Lectures, demonstrations, and studio exercises explore the basics of 3D designing from color, form and shape to the process of design.
