INTERCOM is able to offer a limited number of grants to young museum professionals to attend the annual conference of ICOM’s International Committee for Management INTERCOM from 23. to 25. February 2018 in Kolkata, India

aware that priority will be given to young members (≤ 35 years) from countries belonging to Categories 4, 3 and 2 (as defined in the membership grid available at the following address): http://icom.museum/fileadmin/user_upload/pdf/Membership/Categories_eng.pdf
aware that young members who have received grants in the last three years (2015, 2016 and 2017) will not be given priority for a grant in 2018.
up-to-date with their membership dues for 2015, 2016 and 2017. New ICOM members who joined the organization in 2017 must have paid their dues for 2017 and 2018.

The deadline for applying is 13. December 2017. Submissions received after this date will not be considered. Selection process
Applications will be evaluated by the INTERCOM/ICOM India selection committee and applicants will be informed of the committee’s decision by 10. January 2018. Within 7 days of notification of approval of a bursary, applicants must confirm their acceptance. (no later than 17 January 2018)
(3) FINANCIAL ESTIMATE NOTE: The grants will provide assistance for airfare (in the most reasonable level of Economy Class), accommodation for the duration of the meeting and registration fees. Insurance coverage, visa costs, local transportation, meals and other expenses related to the members’ participation will not be covered by these grants, in any circumstances.
