There is a basket in the Narthex for your contribution to the Falls City Food Pantry. They are in continuous need of many items. Please don’t forget about the needs of so many people. Soups, Mac & cheese, spaghetti sauce, muffin or bread mix, pancake mix, tuna, fruit, or good old cash to help pay for medicines. Your help is needed. Orphan Grain Train – Ongoing Project T Don’t Throw Away Those Coupons Manufacturer’s coupons are needed to send to our troops. They really appreciate receiving these coupons and use them quite often. The coupons can be expired by three months and still be used by the military. Don’t throw away coupons, please put them in Charlene’s mailbox. Take what you need from your Sunday morning paper and give the rest to our troops. They appreciate you helping them! Receiving Communion at St. Paul's If you are a member of a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregation and wish to commune here for the first time, please see the Pastor or an Elder first. Persons who are baptized members of another denomination that is not in Altar or Pulpit fellowship are invited to come forward for a special blessing. Please, cross your arms over your heart indicating your desire to receive a blessing. Please announce for communion by indicating your intentions on the reverse side of the attendance sheet. If you are a loving, caring, person who would like to help members of our church, please sign the Human Care project sheet at the back of the church or call Toni Vollmer at 402-245-5274. You do not need to be a Dorcas Circle member to volunteer and you may indicate on the form how often you would like to volunteer.
The LWML ladies will be traveling to Beatrice this Wednesday, May 4th and leaving from Judy’s house in Verdon at 7:30 a.m. Please call Joann (402-245-3611) and let her know if you are going so she can coordinate drivers and riders. You are invited to bring a guest! The ladies are reminded to bring 5 dozen cookies for Mosaic and groceries for the N. 8th house. Please bring the small size groceries rather than the larger economy sizes. The groceries will be split between 5 apartments. Smaller sizes work better. Thanks!
