*When rain falls one should say: 'Al'laahum'ma say'ye-ban naa'fe'an' and 'mo'tir-naa be'fad'lil-laah wa rahma'te-he.'
Meaning: ‘O Allah make this rainfall beneficial’ and ‘We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah.’ *If the rain pours heavily and it is feared that property damage may occur, it is of the Sunnah that one say: 'Al'laahum'ma hawa'lai'na wa laa a'lai-na. Alal aa'kaam, wadth-dthe'raab wa bo'toon al-o'de'yah wa manaabit ash-shajar.'
