Present research activities and fields of interest

Satellite and ground-based remote sensing using interferometric radar. Special focus is on measuring surface displacement in rural terrain using advanced time-series methods. The main scientific applications are related to permafrost processes, landslides, and glacier dynamics. Developing multi-temporal InSAR signal-processing algorithms for extraction of geophysical parameters from satellite and ground based interferometric radar systems. InSAR analysis using corner reflectors. Mitigation of atmospheric effects in InSAR.
