An AHG was very active in maintaining and unifying the different parts of the MPEG-7 Visual XM software. Some of the problems detected were identified in M23935.
XM42 was issued, which provides better alignment of the visual descriptors with the new Audiovisual Description Profile (Amd.1 of part 11). This alignment became necessary in the context of the software unification between both parts.
An AHG was appointed (N12570, as recorded in N12453) to conduct further MPEG-7 Visual work until the 100th meeting. The mandates relate to maintenance of the various MPEG-7 Visual related parts, software and databases and an update of the XM on the MPEG SVN.
