The activities in MPEG-7 Visual technical work were related to finalization of amendments for software and conformance of video signature tools. These were authorized to proceed to FDAM ballot status as outputs of the 96th meeting.
An AHG was appointed (N11989, as recorded in N11890) to conduct further work until the 97th meeting. The mandates relate to maintenance of the various MPEG-7 Visual related parts and databases.
Further work on preparation of a Call for Proposals on Compact Descriptors for Visual Search was conducted under the Requirements subgroup.
