Ülkemizde sık görülen toplum kökenli enfeksiyon hastalıklarını bilmeli, etiyopatogenezi, klinik bulguları ile bu hastalıkların tanı yöntemleri, tedavileri ve korunma hakkında bilgi sahibi olmalı; ayaktan izlenecek hastalıkların tanı, ayırıcı tanı ve tedavilerini yapabilecek beceriyi kazanmalı; acil enfeksiyon hastalıklarında gerekli ilk müdahaleyi ve hasta sevkinde temel ilkeleri bilmeli.

Trainees should gain familiarity about the etiopathogenesis, clinical and diagnostic features, prevention measures of the most common community acquired infections; should gain skills for diagnosis, differantial diagnosis, treatment and follow up of outpatients; should know the basic principles the initial response of emergent cases and referral practices.

Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji alanında ülkemizde ve dünyada sık görülen, önemli, mezuniyet öğrencisi tıp fakültesi öğrencisinin mutlak bilmesi, tanı koyabilmesi, tedavi edebilmesi, korunma önlemlerini uygulayabilmesi veya sevk etmesi gereken Enfeksiyon Hastalıklarını kapsar.

Course programme includes lectures and training in order to provide general approaches about epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and referral practices of the most common infectious diseases in our country and worldwide.

Stajın öğrenme çıktıları (hedefleri) / clerkship learning outcomes
|
Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları stajının sonunda öğrenci:
1. Ülke ve bölge için önemli olan enfeksiyon hastalıklarını sayabilmeli.
2. Toplum kökenli enfeksiyon hastalıklarının belirtilerini, klinik ve laboratuvar bulgularını, ayırıcı tanıya giren enfeksiyöz veya enfeksiyöz olmayan sık görülen hastalıkları bilmeli, birinci basamak için gerekenleri uygulayıp yorumlayabilmeli.
3. Özel konakta gelişen enfeksiyonlar, yabancı cisim ilişkili enfeksiyonlar ve sağlık hizmeti ilişkili enfeksiyonlar hakkında bilgi sahibi olmalı.
4. Toplum kökenli enfeksiyon hastalıklarının tanısında kullanılan tanı yöntemlerini akılcı şekilde kullanma ve yorumlayabilmeyi bilmeli.
5. Ülke ve bölge için önemli olan toplum kökenli enfeksiyon hastalıklarınının tedavisini uygulayabilmeli; komplike olguları tanıyıp sevk edebilmeli.
6. Bildirimi zorunlu hastalıkları birinci basamak düzeyinde bildirimini yapabilecek düzeyde tanıyı, bildirebilmeli.
7. Toplumda oluşan salgınları veya yeni ortaya çıkan hastalıkları fark edebilmeli; konuyla ilgili gerekli ilişkileri kurabilmeli, ön incelemeleri yapabilmeli.
8. Akılcı antimikrobiyal kullanımı prensiplerini, antimikrobiyal ajanların etki mekanizmasını.
spektrumunu, yan etkilerini, ilaç etkileşimlerini sayabilmeli.
9. Toplum kökenli enfeksiyonlarda direnç durumunu bilmeli, antibiyogram yorumunu yapabilmeli.
10. Erişkinde kemoprofilaksi ve bağışıklama esaslarını bilmeli, uygulayabilmeli ve takip edebilmeli.

By the end of Infectious Diseases clerkship, students should be able to:
1. Describe the most important infectious diseases for the region and the country.
2. Describe the symptoms, clinical and laboratory findings of the most common community acquired infectious diseases and the infectious and non-infectious diseases in the differential diagnosis and apply the required medical interventions on the primary-care level.
3. Be aware of the infections in immunocompromised hosts, infections related with foreign devices and healthcare related infections.
4. Rationally use and interpret the diagnostic tools in community acquired infectious diseases.
5. Treat the most important community acquired infections for region and country, recognize the complicated cases and refer to the reference centers.
6. Recognize and report the diseases those are obligatory to be reported on the primary healhcare level.
7. Recognize emerging diseases and outbreaks in the community, get in contact and establish relationships with relevant sides and subjects, carry out preliminary investigations. List the principles of rational use of.
8. List the principles of rational antimicrobial use, mechanisms of activity of antimicrobial agents, spectra, side effects and drug interactions.
9. Be aware of antimicrobial resistance rates and mechanisms in the most common community acquired infections, interpret the antimicrobial susceptibility test results.
10. Know the principles of adult immunization and chemoprophylaxis, implement and follow up.
