PHYSICAL EDUCATION & COACHING PROGRAM at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences

Name of the diploma: M.Ed., Master of Education in Physical Education

Length of the study program:4 academic years, 8 semesters

Admission requirements: Secondary School Certification from an accredited secondary school;

English written test and general interview;

Physical aptitude test (conditional and coordinational);

Successfully completed entrance examination.

The curriculum parallels the standard curriculum found in Hungary and most European Physical Education programs. Within the full-time courses, students are taught natural, social and sport sciences, technical and tactical features of various sports and their training methods with appropriate theoretical background. In addition, during the 8 semesters, students gain much valued experience on Physical Education teaching in school, on recreation, hiking, skiing, water sports etc. through summer, winter and mid-term camps.

 

HUMAN KINESIOLOGY – REHABILITATION PROGRAM at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences

 

Name of the diploma: Master of Science in Human Kinesiology -Rehabilitation

Length of the study program: 4 academic years, 8 semesters

Admission requirements: Secondary School Certification from an accredited secondary school;

English written test and general interview,

Biology written test and oral examination,

Chemistry written test and oral examination.

Graduates of this program will be familiar with natural and sport sciences and will be able to analyze and apply the principles of human movement structure, as well, as will be able to collect and analyze scientific data of different movements activities and study their effects on human body. Human Kinesiology deals with human movement; it investigates the movement of healthy people for performance improvement and disabled patients, persons with special needs for habilitation, rehabilitation and movement correctional purposes. It examines the laws of the movement of biological systems in their interactions with the external world and in their complexity by natural scientific method. In this way, it is closely associated not only to physics and mathematics, but also to anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, orthopedics, pathology and even psychology. It is generally accepted that kinesiology has independent field of research and applies independent methods. Therefore, the qualification can be used in sport science laboratories, health centers, research laboratories of medical institutions, sport centers and clubs, PE and other departments of higher education, institutions in teaching and research positions, fitness-wellness-health centers, etc.

Human Kinesiology -together with other Hungarian Universities between May 21" -July 22^nd organized by the local representatives. (Application deadlines: 1^st: April 30^th, 2002; 2^nd July 30^th, 2002)

 

Physical Education -together with the Hungarian applicants between July 2 -July 6, 2002 or August 28^th, 2002, both in Budapest. (Application deadlines: 1^st: June 4^th, 2002; 2^nd July 30^th, 2002)

Universittsbibliothek: Die Universittsbibliothek wurde im Jahre 1828 gegründet und befindet sich im alten Zentralgebude der Universitt in der Űllői út 26. Mit seinen 250.000 Bnden hat die Bibliothek die gröte Auswahl von medizinischen Büchern. Diese und auch eine betrchtliche Anzahl von Fachzeitschriften und Videokasetten stehen zur Verfügung. Eine CD-ROM Sammlung von Daten ist durch das SOTNET Computernetz erreichbar (http:/www.sote.hu/kszerv/kszerve/kk/index.html).

Computerbenutzung: Zugang zu Internet und E-mail finden die Studenten in der Universittsbibliothek und im Studentenzentrum.

Freizeit und Sport: Das Sportzentrum der Universitt mit seinen verschiedenen Sektionen: Hand-, Volley- und Wasserball, Tennis, Fechten, Karate, Schwimmen usw. bietet ausreichende Möglichkeiten.

Vorbereitungskurs: 2-semestrige Kurse zur Vorbereitung auf das Medizinstudium in den Fchern Biologie, Chemie und Physik-Mathematik werden von College International in deutscher und englischer Sprache durchgeführt. Bei erfolgreichem Bestehen der Abschlussprüfungen des Kurses in deutscher Sprache wird ein Studienplatz im anschlieenden Studienjahr im deutschsprachigen Studiengang garantiert, sofern die weiteren Voraussetzungen für eine Bewerbung gegeben sind.

STUDIUM DER HUMANMEDIZIN

Abschluss: Diplom und Doktortitel „dr. med”.(Damit sind alle fachlichen Voraussetzungen erfüllt, um in Ungarn den rztlichen Beruf uneingeschrnkt ausüben zu können bzw. die Approbation zum Arzt zu erlangen.)

Dauer des Studiums: 6 Jahre (12 Semester)

Im deutschsprachigen Studiengang wird nach Abschluss des zweiten Studienjahres ein Zeugnis über die rztliche Vorprüfung ausgestellt. Der Wechsel an eine deutsche Universitt ist daher gewhrleistet.

Grundvoraussetzung für eine Bewerbung für den deutschsprachigen Studiengang ist das Zeugnis der allgemeinen Hochschulreife. Eine Aufnahmeprüfung gibt es nicht. Lediglich für jene, die nicht über ein Zeugnis der allgemeinen Hochschulreife, erworben an einem deutschen Gymnasium, verfügen, findet ein Aufnahmegesprch bzw. eine Aufnahmeprüfung statt.

(Da das Studium stark naturwissenschaftlich ausgerichtet ist, werden jene Bewerber bevorzugt, die neben aufzuweisenden Abiturleistungen naturwissenschaftliche Fcher (Physik, Chemie, Biologie oder Mathematik) als Leistungskurs absolviert; naturwissenschaftliche Fcher an einer Universitt belegt bzw. nach dem Gymnasium im Gesundheitswesen ttig waren oder dort ihren Zivildienst abgeleistet haben.)

STUDIUM DER ZAHNMEDIZIN

Abschluss: Diplom und Doktortitel „dr. dent”. (Damit sind dieAbsolventen berechtigt, unter Anleitung und Aufsicht eines vollapprobierten Zahnarztes in Ungarn den zahnrztlichen Beruf auszuüben. Erst nach Absolvation einer zweijhrigen Ausbildung mit anschlieender Prüfung wird die Vollapprobation erteilt.

Dauer des Studiums: 5 Jahre (10 Semester)

Für eine begrenzte Zahl von Studenten des deutschsprachigen Studienganges besteht die Möglichkeit, nach bestandener rztlicher Vorprüfung (inklusive Absolvation der in der Vorklinik abzuleistenden zahnmedizinischen Propdeutikkurse) auf die Fakultt für Zahnheilkunde überzuwechseln.

3.-5. Studienjahr: 8.900,- USD

(Studiengebührenermigung gilt auch hier) Zustzlich zu den Studiengebühren werden Gebühren für Materialverbrauch und Instrumentenbenutzung - pro Semester 475,- USD - erhoben.
