EVALUATIONS
A national system of trade measurement was proposed by the 1995 Review of Australia’s Standards and Conformance Infrastructure. The NSC intends to undertake a review of the current trade measurement system to see if the case for reform is still convincing.
COMPETITIVE TENDERING AND CONTRACTING
The Commission continually reviews its administrative costs and supply options, and has outsourced services where possible. As a small agency with specialised requirements, the Commission has limited purchasing power.
