On Good Friday, Christians remember the death of Jesus and on Easter Sunday/Easter Day they celebrate his return to life. People in Britain eat hot cross buns (=small round cakes marked with a cross), and on Easter Day children receive chocolate Easter eggs.
* The date of these special days is fixed by the date of Easter, which is different in different years. Sometimes Easter is in April. Mother’s Day is two Sunday before Easter in Britain.
