(summary) It is possible to say that the polarisation created by tendencies based on the western culture, perceiving it in absolute sense or completely denying it, is the main obstacle in a way of formation of modern Turkic thought. In modern Turkey it is necessary to overcome limitedness of ideological base and partiality of reasonings.
Possibilities and weaknesses of the West and newly revealing values and possibilities of the East represent serious base for formation of modern Turkic thought. Turkey in new conditions shows the extremely interesting models of return to the culture. In modern Turkey there is a possibility of a combination of these two bases and creation of new perception. Favorable circumstances of the new period give the chance to create new ideas.
