Oana Magdalena CENAC, PhD, is a senior lecturer with the Literature, Linguistics and Journalism Department of the Faculty of Letters, „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati, Romania. She is particularly interested in the field of Romanian lexicology, semantics, morphology, syntax and stylistics. She published numerous articles in various Romanian and foreign journals. She coordinated as a president or co-president of the organizing committee seven edition of the international conference General Lexicon / Specialized Lexicon. She wrote as a single author three books (Problema circumstanţialului în limbile română şi engleză, Casa cărţii de ŞtiinţăPublishing House,Cluj-Napoca, 2014, Circumstanţialul în limba română. Abordări tradiţionale şi moderne, Casa cărţii de Ştiinţă Publishing House,Cluj-Napoca, 2014,and Elemente de lingvistică generală, Casa cărţii de Ştiinţă Publishing House,Cluj-Napoca, 2015) and she coordinates other two books: Lexic politic şi discurs politic and Manifestări ale creativităţii limbajului uman. Since 2012, she has been the chief editor of the scientific journal Annals of Dunărea de Jos University of Galati, Fascicle XXIV Lexic comun / lexic specializat, a linguistic journal indexed in MLA (Modern Language Association, New York, www.mla.org) – MLA International Bibliography & Directory of Periodicals, Fabula. La recherche en littérature (www.fabula.org) and EBSCO.
