Elicit the names of kinds of music and write them on
the board, e.g.,
pop, rock, classical, jazz, folk, heavy metal . Put the students into pairs and write the following
questions on the board for them to ask and answer:
What kind of music do you like? Who’s your favorite singer? What’s your favorite group? Do you have a favorite song? What’s the title? •
For class feedback, ask volunteers to talk about their
partner, e.g.,
Fabio likes pop music. His favorite singer is Paula Fernandes. His favorite song is … •
