Differentiation:
Unfortunately, everyone is not the same level, or the same interests in terms of the subject. For the situation which covers two different level students, low and high, I can differentiate my last activity. Others are doing role play about a topic given by teacher while low-level students are provided a bit easier task for this stage, but still the skill and approach is kept. For example, we make a group consists of only low level students and the instruction for them will be like that one student come to the board and show the new words learnt in this class as miming. This activity also called pantomime. Then the students are low level should find the word and at the same time should tell a sentence using the word and grammar aspect “going to”. For doing this task, first of all, they also have a chance to communicate each other. Also they can improve their productive skills as well.

The type of activity, language skills and grammar aspect is kept, however I change the role play to pantomime in order to differentiate the activity. It is better to just tell the correct answer or making sentences using going to for low level students rather than making a role play.

Listening

They understand more than 90 % of the track. They do the task without errors. They follow the instruction correctly

Students participate well. They work on activities properly. Their listening is between 60 and 80 %. However, they try to follow the rules.

Students do not follow the standards. The answer of listening task is below 50 %.
