Desıgn And Implementatıon Of The Checkout And Return Unıts In The Lıbrary Informatıon System

Purpose of this thesis; operations of book’s checkin/out in safely, compatible work of this system with other programs used in library information system, prevention of unauthorized book checkouts and possible delinquency of library staff or patrons.

Thesis can be investigated under three main headers. At The first part of the study, general process of the system and the terminal program that has been developed are explained. Functions, algorithm and user interfaces of terminal program that has been used in this study are created.

The second part of the study, process of electronic card and task of the card in the system are explained. Modules composing the electronic card, relationships between them and their operation principles are explained with the support of electronic schemas. Additionally EAS systems and their working principle and role of EM shreds in the system are comprised.

The last part of the thesis, definition, working areas and preference reasons of the microcontroller that manages the electronic card and establishes the communication between electronic card and the computer is investigated. Program algorithm of microcontroller and the systems required to program microcontroller are also included.

In this thesis, the patrons can success checkin/out without any help of library staff. Providing circulation of the books with less number of staff, in a shorter time, faster and with less delinquency are aimed to implement by complaining the lack part of library information.system.

Nadir-Toprak Bromidlerin Moleküler Monomerlerinin Ve Dimerlerinin Statik Ve Dinamik Yapısı

Bu tez çalışmasında Nadir-toprak elementlerinin (R), sıvı RBr₃ bileşikleri için bir iyonik potansiyel modeli belirlenecektir. Bu potansiyel kullanılarak tüm RBr₃ monomerlerinin bağlanma enerjisi ve geometrik yapısı bir bilgisayar programı yardımıyla belirlenerek bu yapıların titreşim modları hesaplanacaktır. Ayrıca sıvı RBr₃ sistemlerinde mevcut dimerik yapıların geometrileri ve titreşim frekansları hesaplanarak bu tezde önerilen potansiyel modeli ayrıntılı test edilecektir. Potansiyel model sonuçları mevcut yapısal ve spektral verilerle karşılaştırılacaktır.

Static And Dynamic Structure Of Molecular Monomers And Dimers Of The Rare-Earth Bromides

In this thesis an ionic potential model is developed for the liquid RBr₃ compounds of Rare-earth elements (R). By using the determined potential the binding energies and geometrical structures of the whole RBr₃ monomers are obtained and the vibrational modes of these structures are calculated with helping a computer programme. The proposed potential model in this thesis is tested in deatails through calculations of structure and vibrational frequencies of the available dimeric structures in liquid RBr₃ systems. The results of the potential model are compared with the available structural and spectral data.

Uzaktan Randevu Takip Modülü İçeren Bir Diş Hekimliği Hastane Yönetim Bilişim Sisteminin Geliştirilmesi

Yönetim Bilişim Sistemleri her işletmede olduğu gibi, hastanelerin de kuruluş amaçları doğrultusunda etkili ve verimli faaliyet göstermelerinde yöneticilerin verecekleri doğru kararları destekleyecek en önemli bileşen olarak kabul edilmektedir.

Hastane etkinliğinin attırılmasında Hastane Yönetim Bilişim Sistemi stratejik bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu işlevini; iletişimi geliştirerek, yapılan işleri otomatikleştirerek ve işlerin yapılış şeklinde dönüşüm sağlayarak gerçekleştirmektedir.

Diş Hekimliği Hastane Yönetim Bilişim Sistemi kurulmasında ve geliştirilmesinde genel kabul görmüş yöntemlere uyulması, amaca uygun sağlıklı altyapı ve donanımın kurulması, yazılımın örgütle birlikte yaşayan ve gelişen bir bileşen olduğu da göz ardı edilmeksizin doğru şekilde yapılandırılması verim almayı ve etkin olmayı kaçınılmaz kılacaktır.

Bu çalışmada İstanbul Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesinde mevcut bilişim altyapısı üzerinde sorunsuz çalışabilecek ve Uzaktan Randevu Takip Modülüne sahip bir Diş Hekimliği Hastane Yönetim Bilişim Sisteminin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
  

The Implementation Of A Dental Hospital Information Management System Including Remote Patient Appointment Facility

Management Information Systems like in every enterprise, are accepted the most important component to support the right decisions that the administrators make effectively and efficiently in the aims of establishing the dental hospitals.

Hospital Management Information System plays a strategical role in increasing hospital efficiency. This function is realized by developing communication, automatizing the works and supplying transformation how the works done.

It will be unavoidable to have success by obeying accepted techniques establishing and improving the Dental Faculty Hospital Administration System, establishing suitable infrastructure and the equipments, without ignoring the importance of the software that lives and develops with the organization.

In this research, it is aimed to develop a Dental Hospital Management Information System that has Remote Appointment Following Module and a system that can work on current informatics structure without any problems at Istanbul University Dental Faculty.

Güvenlik Ve İnternet Erişim Politikaları Oluşturulması: İstanbul Üniversitesi’nde Uygulama Süreci

Bu çalışma, güvenlik ve internet erişim politikaları oluşturma sürecini, İstanbul Üniversitesi örneğini kendisine temel alarak, uluslararası standartlar ve konunun önde gelen hem yerli hem yabancı üniversitelerinin bu yönde geliştirmiş oldukları projeler ve tecrübeleri referans alınarak tanımlamayı hedef almıştır.

Bu hedef doğrultusunda hazırlanmış olan çalışma, üç ana bölümde incelenebilir. Birinci bölümde, çalışma sahası olması nedeniyle kurumsal altyapı tüm teknik yönleriyle ele alınmıştır. Kurumsal ölçekte en uygun altyapı örneğini teşkil eden üniversitelerin, kullandığı teknolojiler, ağ ve ağ bileşenleri kısaca incelenmiş, İstanbul Üniversitesi örnekleriyle konuyu tamamlar hale getirilmiştir.

İkinci bölümde, güvenlik kavramı tüm bileşenleriyle ele alınmış ve politikalar ile ilişkisi daha belirgin hale getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Güvenliğin bileşenlerini ortaya koyma açısından, tehditler ve bunlara karşı alınabilecek tedbirler üzerinde durulmuştur. Kurumsal güvenliğin sağlanması hususunda bilgi teknolojileri sektörünün ortaya koymuş oldukları çalışmalar, getirmiş oldukları çözümler ve bu yönde geleceğe dönük eğilimler irdelenmiştir.

Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde, üniversitelerde kurumsal ölçekte bir güvenlik anlayışının tam olarak oturtulabilmesi ve istikrarlı bir şekilde sürekliliğini koruyabilmesi için en önemli unsurun, yönetimin de tam desteğini almış bir kurumsal güvenlik politikası oluşturulması gereği anlatılmıştır. Daha sonra bu alanda köklü ve kapsamlı projeler geliştirmiş olan üniversitelerin çalışmaları ve bu yönde hazırlanmış olan uluslararası standartlar esas alınarak, bir süreç ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Ortaya konulan süreç doğrultusunda İstanbul Üniversitesi’nde uygulanacak politika hazırlama çalışmalarına başlanmıştır. Çalışmanın en son bölümünde İstanbul Üniversitesi güvenlik politikası şablonu ve örnek güvenlik politikaları hazırlanmıştır.
  

Implementation Of Security And Internet Access Policy: Application Process İn Istanbul University

This dissertation has aimed to describe the process of security and implementation of internet access policies concerning the example of Istanbul University and the projects that have been developed by the national and international leading universities of this field.

This study has three chapters. In the first chapter the institutional infrastructure has been examined with the all technical aspects since it is the main technical background. The technologies, network and network components used by the universities which constitute the most appropriate example of infrastructure at the enterprise grade briefly examined. Istanbul University example has been given to complete the subject.

In the second chapter, the concepts of security with all dimensions and the relation to the security policies have been clearly treated. In order to put forward the components of the security, the threats and the measures that can be taken against the threats have been emphasized. The works which are given by the information technology sector in order to acquire the institutional security and the suggested solutions and the future aims have been discussed.

In the third chapter, we have come to the conclusion that in order to establish a well security approach in the universities at the institutional scale and maintain the consistence of it, it is needed an institutional policy which is fully supported by the administration. After that the remarkable and extensive projects that are prepared by some universities have been examined concerning the international standards on this area to determine the process of it. In the direction of this process, which have been put forward, the policy preparations have been started at the Istanbul University. At the final section of the dissertation, an example of a security policy template of Istanbul University and the sample security policy has been prepared.
