Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
Day 1 - Arrival.

Day 2 - A powerpoint presentation about general knowledge of hair care. Introducing hair care products, showing how to use them, the participants' applying them to each others hair. Giving information and showing the hints of washing the hair in a right way.

Day 3 - Showing how to set in different ways and participants' application by setting each other's hair.

Day 4 - Giving information and showing one of the easiest and smartest way of plucking eyebrow and practising.

Day 5 - Giving information about different types of hair and practising. A small trip around Ayaş, Beypazarı and Centre of Ankara.

Day 6 - Presenting and showing the hints of a good hair dyeing.

Day 7 - The hints of using curling irons, what to do to have your hair curly after using the curling irons.

Day 8 - Teaching the different ways of hair plaits.

Day 9 - Showing a good example of professional make-up and practising.

Day 10 - Showing the hints of cutting hair especially deformed ends of the hair. Departure.

Lectures and presentations by experts on Basic Principles of Homeopathy. Discussion by the participants on the homeopathic counselling and "case taking" techniques and methods and difficulties encountered in counselling. Study on live cases and variations in different countries. Special cases; pediatrics, psychiatry, gynecology. Use of homeopathic software and brainstorming for repertorization. Evaluation and feedback of the workshop.

A Warm Intercultural Dialogue Can Begin With Kece

Unemployed people, housewives and adults over 20 with at least elementary level of English who are interested in learning traditional Turkish art of wool, Kece (felt) and Turkish culture.

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
Day 1- Arrival, checking in the hotel. Welcome meeting ,getting to know each other, general information about the programme, orientation.

Day 2 -Introducing Atakum Halk Eğitim Merkezi (AHEM) and courses in AHEM, showing previous Kece (felt) exhibitions, the history of Kece (felt), showing the fields of using Kece (felt).

Day 3 -Introducing making Kece (felt) by crushing and necessary equipment and techniques to make Kece (felt), practising making Kece (felt) by crushing. Visiting Amisos Tumuluses and Storerooms.

Day 4 - Learning basic skills of shaping and coloring Kece (felt).

Day 5 -Practising materials and techniques, getting to know Turkish culture with the help of Turkish classmates.

Day 6 -Producing works with Kece (felt) (purse, handbag, phone bag,etc...). Visiting Bandırma Vapour, Kurtulus Way and museums.

Day 7 - Producing works with Kece (felt) (necklace, bracelet, earrings,etc...).

Day 8 - Producing works with Kece (felt) (vest, socks, pillow, etc...) evaluations, discussions and getting the reflections. Joining the Sıra Gecesi.

Day 9 -Attending 19th May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sport Festivity (a Turkish National Festivity). Exhibition of the participants’ works with Kece (felt), certificate ceremony.

Day 10 - Departure.

Pprovide adult learners an opportunity to develop their interest in sports and mountaineering and to develop their personal social skills. The participants will be equipped with basics of trekking, how to survive in the nature, to set up a tent, how to read a map and compass and some basic first aid techniques. On the last day of the workshop there will be a trekking activity where they will walk along a part of the road that was known as “King’s Road” in the past and they will apply the things they learned during the week.
12 May 2013: Arrival of the participants. Welcome dinner. Name games, introduction of the participants, pre-information about the workshop activities and the workshop.

13 May 2013: Morning: General theoritical information about camping and trekking. Introducing camping and trekking materials such as shoes, bags, tents, sleeping bag etc. How to choose a suitable material and preparing the camping bag, warm-up activities before starting.

14 May 2013: Map and compass studies, essentials of map and compass reading. Practical activities of map and compass reading.

15 May 2013: Choosing the camp site, practicing to set up a tent, activities at a campsite such as lighting a fire without fire material. Setting a route for trekking.

16 May 2013: Rules to be obeyed at a camp and while trekking. Leading a trekking group and communication with the leader. Learning first aid techniques.

17 May 2013: A question & answer session about problems that can occur at the campsite and while trekking and suggestions about how they can be solved. A trekking activity: Participants will walk a part of the road that was known as “King’s Road” in the past and they have the chance to apply the things they learnt during the week.

18 May 2013: Departure of the participants.
