vehicle on road in Khost city	Paktia		1		1	Suicide attack	Man fired upon car of Khost deputy intelligence chief, Col. Mohammad Isa, as he was going to his office. Killed the policeman, then blew himself up too. The AIP said Isa had escaped an assassination bid last year and a junior intelligence officer was killed in Khost 2 months ago. This is 4^th suicide attack - 2 in Kabul on Jan. 27-28, and one in Kabul in Dec. which killed 5 Afghan security officials. Taliban claim responsibility saying Isa had passed in information to US forces and was a former member of an Afghan communist party.
