CD 1 : 11 1 I’m from France. My favorite season is fall because
there’s a lot of fruit, and I like picking it. I pick grapes
with my family every year. We eat the grapes at the
Mid-Fall festival.
2 I live on a farm in India. My favorite season is spring
because that’s when the baby animals are born. These
are some baby chicks. They were born last spring.
3 I’m from the United States. My favorite season is
summer because I go to summer camp. I like being with
my friends, and we do a lot of different activities. My
favorite activities are the water sports. We do them on
a lake. Last summer, I went canoeing for the first time.
It was great!
4 I live in the mountains in Switzerland. My favorite
season is winter because it snows a lot here, and I can
go snowboarding. I like skiing, too, but snowboarding
is my favorite sport. Someday, I would like to
snowboard at the Winter Olympics.
