Duties
As a Director in the Provider Pathway Design & Engagement Branch you will be responsible for working with the Branch Manager and leadership team to ensure the proactive and strategic management and engagement of providers seeking to join and operate within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
To achieve successful
scheme implementation, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is working to facilitate development of adequate supply in a growing market that enables participant choice and control. The NDIA has recently completed an extensive review of the provider pathway with a focus on improving the provider experience. The Director Provider Engagement Network will develop and deliver a coherent program of provider engagement informed by the findings of the provider pathway review to be implemented NDIA staff and partners throughout the regional network.
The role will be required to work with both internal stakeholders (national and regional teams within the Agency, key Commonwealth agencies, and relevant Ministers’ Offices) and external stakeholders (State
jurisdictions, peak bodies, and industry stakeholders).
You will work closely with the NDIA Stakeholder Engagement team nationally and the regional provider engagement teams locally to identify and implement scalable approaches to provider engagement that support establishment and growth of an effective and dynamic provider market.
You will be a strong manager and leader who builds trust and respect. You will manage a team with responsibility to deliver a solid program of nationally consistent, locally tailored communications and engagement activities. You will lead and work on projects and activities across the branch as required.
You will have extensive engagement and community
capacity building experience, excellent negotiation and liaison skills and superior communications and organisational skills.
Eligibility
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship. Failure to do so may jeopardise your offer of employment.
Dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
