TS-15 455 STRUCTURES FOUNDATIONS:

GENERAL: All work under this section shall conform to the provisions of the FDOT Specifications Section 455, FDOT Indices and the Contract Plans, except as modified herein. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete this work.

METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of Piling, as shown on the bid form, is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the contract. The actual quantity may vary from the estimated amount. The quantity to be paid for under this Section shall be measured, completed and accepted and shall include all items and all work described herein, and as specified in the Plans. The Protection of Existing Structures is incidental to the item being installed as described in section 455.1.1 – Protection of Existing Structures. The Contractor is completely responsible for all monitoring and damage to existing properties and structures within the limits as described in this section.

TS-17 520 CONCRETE GUTTER, CURB ELEMENTS AND TRAFFIC SEPARATOR:

GENERAL: All work under this section shall conform to the provisions of the FDOT Specifications Section 520, FDOT Indices and the Contract Documents. Work shall conform to FDOT Standard Specification Section 520, and Index 300 and 302 except as otherwise modified or amended herein.

Work shall include all excavation, replacement of unsatisfactory subsoil, backfilling around the curb & gutter, compaction, disposal of surplus material; and furnishing and installing fixtures, appurtenances, and miscellaneous hardware required.
Concrete shall be FDOT Class I as specified in Section 346. Joints shall comply with the requirements set forth in TS-522.
MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT: Payment for Concrete Curb, Gutter and Traffic Separator shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for excavation, backfilling around the curb & gutter, compaction, disposal of surplus material; and furnishing and installing fixtures, appurtenances, and miscellaneous hardware required to complete the work. GENERAL: All work under this section shall conform to the provisions of the FDOT Specifications Section 521, FDOT Indices and the Contract Plans, except as modified herein. Work shall include furnishing and installing the bridge name, number and date as shown in the Contract Plans. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete this work.
