The REVP extended best wishes to everyone celebrating a birthday.
PSAC statement on harassment
The statement on harassment was read. The REVP pointed out that the fight against harassment is the union’s strength and that the Constitution protects members against discrimination of all types. He added that, when harassment problems surface, preference is given to speedy and informal resolution, because discrimination-related conflicts weaken the union.
The REVP reminded those in attendance that meetings are held in scent-free settings, as some people are bothered by chemicals.
