Baltic amber - become a part of the ancient European countries

European citizens over 50 years, able to communicate in English. Workshop organizers expects learners to come from ancient “Amber road" countries: Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia.
Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
Workshop will introduce to the ancient and modern amber processing tools, secrets of amber fishing, and a possibility to process amber themselves: choose a piece of raw amber and make it into an amulet that will protect from bad luck, or into a beautiful talisman, gives strength which carried in the pocket. All the process will be presented and taught to the participants of the Workshop together with complete history and information about amber itself.

Basic principles: experiential learning, holistic approach to education, existential worldview. Experiential methods: low ropes, contact improvisation, survival hike, kayaking, geocaching. Reflection methods: art therapy, psychodrama, reflections. Theoretical presentations with discussions about: introduction to experiential learning method; looking at your life from E.Erikson’s psychosocial crisis live cycle model (the eight stages of human development) with emphasis on the mid-adult crisis stage; stress management; waking up creativity; the role of existential givens (freedom, responsibility, time, anxiety, meaning) in life decision making.

"Developing personal well being and emotional intelligence competence through self-expression"

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
The workshop aims to introduce learners with European citizenship concepts through dance and motivate them to act as multiplyers in their local communities. Workshop will provide tools for learners to foster fealing of European citizenship al local level through dance as a tool for involvement. Participants will receive knowledge on participation, lobby and advocay, motivation of people, they will develop skills such as emotional intelligence, body language, expression skill development which in the future will help them to to promote European citizenship, well-being in their communitiies through participatory dance methodology. During the workshop a variety of theoretical and practical methodologies will be used, such as input, presentation, discussion, dance therapy, dance and theatre expression techniques, dance meditation, yoga and other. Finaly, the workshop will create an opportunity for learners of positive non-formal learning experience, promoting life long learning concept and active healthy life style.
Workshop is offering adult learners the opportunity to develop their personal well-being through participatory dance methodology. During the workshop both theoretical and practical methodologies will be used, such as input, presentation, discussion, dance therapy, dance and theatre expression techniques, dance meditation and yoga, other practical activities focusing on emotional intelligence, body language, expression skill development. It will give opportunity for positive learning experience, promoting life long learning concept and active healthy life style.
