The connection between tunnels is directed to the west and is parallel to the designed tunnels. It then goes under the existing tunnel, where it turns to the north between the existing tracks of metro line I. Due to the substantial difference between the heights of the levels, it is necessary to implement stairs and an escalator. The escalator leading from the existing station to the platform are situation in the location where 3 rooms have existed so far: 2 warehouse rooms and 1 technical room (space which is part of the station ventilation system). As a result of the above mentioned connection, the said warehouse rooms will be liquidated and the ventilation room will be reconstructed.

The monitoring center’s objectives will include observing phenomena which are may be dangerous for the objects and the environment in the vicinity of the construction of the metro, as well as alarming and taking preventive actions.

The monitoring room will be arranged in part of the warehouse in the northern head of the existing A14 “Świętokrzyska’ station. The monitoring room will be equipped with monitoring equipment which will be operated by two persons.

The monitoring room will be a separate fire zone ZLIII, separated with masonry walls REI 120 and EI 60 door.

Equipment:

  • Electrical and ventilation installation

  • Suspended raster ceiling

  • Plastered, painted with acrylic paint walls
