Course goals and objectives:
- To acquaint the students with the essence of cross-cultural communication as forms of contacts and mutual understanding between people belonging to different cultures;

- Psychological mechanisms, types and theories of cross-cultural communication

- Development of cultural and communicative competence at the level appropriate for development of effective cross-cultural communication.

Course annotation:
The study course analyses theoretical and practical issues in cross-cultural communication, cultural, anthropological and psychological mechanism of cross-cultural communications competence; special attention is devoted to cross-cultural communication competence and formation of tolerance, practical and cultural adaptation.
