Duties
The Assistant Director, Payment Integrity and Compliance will coordinate and support the design and delivery of a complex compliance program and processes with both strategic and operational significance.
This will require experience in data analysis and compliance intervention design which will ensure the integrity of the Agency. You will be responsible for providing authoritative advice on complex regulatory issues and treatment strategies.
This role requires experience and knowledge of relevant Commonwealth legislative and reporting requirements or best practice models.
Duties

Support the implementation of compliance models that assure risk, error and non-compliance are identified and treated,

Coordinate the design and implementation of first line controls for payment integrity and support the development of regional capability and capacity

Contribute to the strategic compliance documentation reporting

Coordinate the review and reporting of Actuary operational monitoring output on behalf of the COO.

Support the develop development of the NDIA Compliance Management Model to ensure appropriate operational responses are in place and identified issues are escalated.

Provide advice and support to Agency Executive and staff on appropriate treatment and recovery activity
Eligibility
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment
National Police History check, and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship. Failure to do so may jeopardise your offer of employment.
Dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.

Please note, this role will be re-located to Geelong, Victoria (National Office) by July 2019. Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term
This position will be offered for a specified term of up to 18 months, with the possibility of extension up to three years.
This non-ongoing position may become ongoing. Should the position become ongoing then the Order of Merit established through this selection process may be used to fill the vacancy on an ongoing basis.
